New podcasts and SIMM events shared by its Founding Director Pairon

1. The programme of the 8th SIMM-posium - organised in and with the Queensland Conservatorium Research Centre (Griffith University) in Brisbane, Australia, from 20 to 22 November 2023 - is really impressive! You can still register to attend it in person or online.  The programme and information on registrations can be found via the SIMM website.

2. We plan our 7th research seminar from 15-17th April 2024 at the London based Guildhall School, organised in a close collaboration with both the Guildhall School and the Ghent University based Chair Jonet. The focus of this research seminar will be the role of composition (and composers) within participatory music projects.  Deadline for applications is 15th December 2023, and information of the small group of scholars selected (maximum 20) for this 3-day research seminar will be communicated before 15th January. 3. After a break of one year, we will these coming weeks broadcast new episodes of the SIMM-podcast - you will find an overview here.
