The summary of the paper ‘Developing a Framework for the Study of Performing Arts Programs for Other-than-artistic Purposes in Conflict Settings’ presented at the SIMM-Posium 4: Bogotá (26-27 July 2019) is now available at http://eprints.gla.ac.uk/192773/ .

This paper discusses the process of developing a new framework combining ideas from Community Music (Howell, 2018), Social Psychology (Pettigrew, 1998; Odena, 2018) and Peace Studies (Cabedo-Mas, 2015), aimed at providing a tool for researchers wishing to systematically examine Performing Arts programs for other-than-artistic purposes in conflict settings.

La primera reunión consultiva del proyecto TAI (The Arts of Inclusion) se celebró el 27 de marzo, de 3 a 4 pm, hora del Reino Unido, en la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Glasgow. Miembros asesores locales asistieron a miembros presenciales e internacionales a los que se unió por videoconferencia.

Algunos miembros se encontraban en zonas horarias opuestas y no era factible para todos ingresar por Skype;  la segunda reunión consultiva será por la mañana para permitir que todos contribuyan.

The first TAI (The Arts of Inclusion) project Advisory meeting was held March 27th, 3-4 pm UK time at the School of Education, University of Glasgow. Locally-based Advisory members attended face-to-face and international members joined in by videoconference.

Some members were in opposite time zones and it was not feasible for all to Skype-in; the second Advisory meeting will be in the morning to allow everybody to contribute.
